Canon
The Cyanview RCP allows you to control all types of Canon cameras.
Overviews
The Cyanview RCP can control Canon camera over:
- IP (using XC protocol)
- USB (for mirrorless cameras)
- 2.1 mm Jack (using Remote A protocol)
Remote B is not supported as most cameras supports Remote A protocol and the newer ones are IP controllable through XC protocol.
IP control : PTZ
The Cyanview RCP can control Canon PTZ cameras:
- CR-N300
- CR-N500
For the pan/tilt, you can use:
- The Cyanview RCP touchscreen for simple presets recall (radio, etc.)
- USB joystick plugged on an RCP or a NIO/RIO, ideal for compact setups or remote production
- Canon RC-IP100 in parallel of our RCP
IP control : cameras
The Cyanview RCP controls all the Canon cameras that support the XC protocol:
- C300 Mk3
- C500 Mk2
- XF605
- C70 (needs a firmware update)
- etc.

Example to check if the C500 Mk3 is controllable by Cyanview RCP.
Navigate to Canon C500 mk3 website and in the technical specifications, you will that Canon XC Protocol supported
.
It means that the camera is controllable by Cyanview RCP.
USB : Mirrorless
The Cyanview RCP you can control your Canon R5 camera over USB.
Jack 2.1 mm : Remote A
The Cyanview RCP controls all the Canon cameras that support the Remote A protocol:
- C100
- C200
- C300 Mk2
- C500 Mk1
- etc.

Canon XC Protocol supported

If your camera is compatible with a RCV-100, it is compatible with the Cyanview RCP. Except that Cyanview RCP controls the cameras over IP and can control multiple cameras at the same time.
